An Open Letter to Fall

Dear Fall,

I love everything about you.  I love sweaters and boots, chili and dark beer.  I love pumpkin spice coffee and knocking on doors.  I love celebrating our anniversary and homecoming weekends.  I love tailgating parties and football games.

Do you prefer Autumn?  I will call you Autumn if you prefer. I digress.

I love the foliage in New England and how damn cute Lila looks in her hoodie.  I love apple picking, leaf jumping and hot cider with fresh donuts.  I love dressing up for Halloween.  If I wasn’t horribly allergic, I’d even love carving pumpkins.  And not to be creepy, but you smell really good.

So thank you Fall, for making the end of summer so unbelievably bearable.

Sincerely,

Jo

It’s very true…fall is the only redeeming part of the weather getting cooler!
