A Taste of France

In France, we had a lot of what Elliott and I deemed “net fat days.”  Yes we ran, we skied, we hiked (well, sorta).  We just love cheese that much.  And chocolate.  And bread.  And macarons.  Elliott is French… what’s my excuse?

Macarons! We had at least one a day.
Macarons! We made sure to have at least one a day.
Meat cheese and bread are definitely a meal. Or every meal. And look, we even had some salad. #wheninfrance

This crepe may have been non-traditional but man was it good. Goat cheese, tomato, pesto and jamon.

Coconut and Nutella crepe, because no one should have to choose between sweet and savory.

Lardon and raclette quiche. Chamonix knows how to do slope food right.

Totally NOT French: taco night! Elliott looks proud, and a little bit crazy.

Breakfast on my last day in France. Thank god I didn't try this for breakfast on my first day, or we'd have had issues (of the pants buttoning sort).
