Already one week into the Whole30, and honestly this hasn’t been hard!  Even the weekend didn’t pose a challenge, but maybe that’s because I was perfectly content not to do a whole lot of anything.  I can certainly keep this up, although a piece of dark chocolate sounds real good right now…

How I’m feeling:  Yep, that pretty much sums it up.  Despite 10 hours of sleep.

I’ve found it hard to eat three full meals on the weekend.  It just doesn’t really fit in our schedule when we get up fairly late and do boot camp mid-morning.  By the time I got around to whipping up “breakfast” it was 1:30!  Luckily I made a great big plate of goodness that easily held me through until dinner.

Pre-workout Snack: Three scrambled egg whites with pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 banana and almond butter

Brunch: Smoked Salmon, Spinach and Avocado Scramble atop Sweet Potato Hash

Dinner: Three Layer Shepherd’s Pie with a Power Greens Salad (broccoli, brussels sprouts, chicory and kale) with blackberries
